This photo of 1063 and her three cubs came moments before her three cubs died due to a male grizzly killing them. The wild is well… wild. Its not all pleasant and this is a great reminder of the harsh reality. There is some speculation that the park interaction made her and her cubs vulnerable to this but males trying to kill cubs is no new feat. This increases the males reproductive success and is the natural thing for the to try to do.
