Golden Bruiser

from $14.52

Old, rugged, dominate, fierce, primal... just a few words to describe this mule deer of Antelope Island State Park. In full camouflage, I was able to sneak up within ~20 yards of this mature buck while he was sleeping. As the sun began to set, he stood up and eventually saw me while the sun made his body glow. I continued to lie still on the ground as he swung his head back and forth, stomped on the ground multiple times, and approached me. Luckily, he eventually turned around and walked away. An intense experience and an intense picture that came out of it!
