Angry Bird

I quietly walked into the woods and spotted this owl sitting on a perch with a perfect view. A blackbird nearby was being a total nuisance, hitting him on the head, and I just watched for a few minutes as the sunrise painted the sky with amazing blues, purples, and yellows. Then, the owl flew straight at me. I managed to capture what’s easily my favorite owl shot so far. I love the motion, the colors, and the little story the photo tells—it was one of those moments you just can’t forget.
